Handling the stress on your wedding day.0

Posted by Admin in Wedding Photography (February 16, 2008 at 7:20 am)

Wedding Photography is a passion of mine, I mean Photography in general is my passion of course, but Wedding Photography is really special. In the school I attended, they taught us that Wedding Photography was the most “high stress” of all the photographic fields. They said “approach with caution, stressed out people ahead.” LOL. Well, I haven’t encountered anything to off the charts yet, but I’m told I can have a very calming effect on people.

The key is your focus. Look, you’ve made all you plans and arranged every little detail, but now you just have to let it happen. Breath in, breath out, and let it happen. Remember to just focus on one thing, the all important thing.

Today you are marrying your life partner, your true love. Look into each others eyes and feel the love.

Should I bring my other child / children to my Maternity / Pregnancy Photography session?0

Posted by Admin in Maternity / Pregnancy Photography (February 14, 2008 at 7:20 am)

When you book your Maternity / Pregnancy Photographer this is a good thing to bring up. Some won’t want to do it. Some will. You need to try and visualize the pictures and how you want them to look. It also depends on things like the age and temperament of the child / children involved, the type of photos you want (how revealing), but mostly, does you other child / children want to be a part of it all.
I have done Pregnancy Photography with one other child a number of times. They were always daughters aged 8 – 16 years and the results were fabulous. It was wonderful how these girls responded to the whole thing and really hooked in with mom. As far as boys or more than one child ………..why not. If the family is into it, so am I.
You might, depending on the age of the other child / children, want to bring someone to help out or sit in the car with them. LOL.

Remember, this is your special time and what you want is all that matters. If it feels like a good idea…….do it.

Choosing Your Wedding Photographer0

Posted by Admin in Wedding Photography (February 8, 2008 at 1:11 pm)

As a wedding photographer I must accept a great responsibility. I must be constantly aware of how important this day is to my clients and carry that into my work. This is not just a job. This is a responsibility. So much rides on the quality of your wedding photographer’s work on one of the most important days of your lives.

Your wedding photographer should capture the Love………not just the event.

Preparing for your baby’s first photo session.0

Posted by Admin in Baby Photography (February 5, 2008 at 1:09 pm)

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Baby Photography.
Here’s a couple of hints about getting ready for your baby’s photo shoot.

When booking your Baby Photographer, be sure to take into consideration your baby’s “Happy Times” and “Sleepy Times”. Nothing worse than being ready to shoot, but baby is not.

Another helpful hint is checking to make sure you have all of Baby’s favorite playthings with you and some extra outfits other than that “one” favorite outfit that could fall victim to a messy mishap.

Just double check to make sure you have all the equipment necessary to have a successful and fun
Baby Photography experience.

As you can see, I always pack everything I need to do a great job for you and your Baby.

Thanks, Paul Hammill – Baby Photographer
